who was detained Timur Freiman, a supporter of Alexei Navalny, today in Astrakhan, was released from the police without drawing up an administrative protocol. This is reported by the "Caucasian Knot".
The police rewrote the IMEI code of the activist's phone. Freiman was detained precisely because he refused to unlock and show his phone to the police when they demanded. The detainee was taken to police station No. 2, but then returned to the police station at the Astrakhan bus station, where he was detained. The policeman who detained Freiman refused to introduce himself and explain his actions:
Having found out the essence, I was taken back to the bus station. They didn’t take any explanations from me, they didn’t draw up a protocol - they offered to give a receipt that I had no claims against the police officers, but I refused. They only asked me to remove the battery from the phone in order to rewrite its IMEI, they gave me my passport and let me go.
