In the center of Lugansk, unknown people blew up a monument to the LPR militants "They defended their homeland." This was reported by the resource of the separatists "Lugansk Information Center".
It was reported that the explosion occurred about two in the morning on Monday. As a result, the monument was partially damaged. Presumably the bomb was laid next to the monument.
As RIA Novosti reports with reference to a source in the LPR law enforcement agencies, no one was injured as a result of the explosion.
After the explosion, the monument was cordoned off by the police officers of the separatists.
According to RBC, the LPR People’s Police called an explosion of the monument with a terrorist attack and considered the attack an attempt to disrupt the "established ceasefire."
The monument to the militants was already blown up in September last year. Then no one was injured either.
