The Sovetsky District Court of Ulan-Ude fined Deputy of the People's Khural of Buryatia Bair Tsyrenov was fined 10 thousand rubles for picketing near the parliament building. Rosbalt reports this.
Before the start of the session of the Buryat parliament, Tsyrenov stood in front of the entrance to the parliament building with a poster that read: “No to “filtered elections.” Thus, the deputy expressed disagreement with the blocking by the “municipal filter” of the nomination of the leader of the regional Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Vyacheslav Markhaev, as a candidate for the head of the republic. The police qualified Tsyrenov’s actions under Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (violations of the procedure for holding a public event).
According to the police, it is impossible to organize pickets near the building where the constitutional court of the republic is formally located.
