A new grant was established for Russian artists

The House of Champagne Wines Ruinart and the International Contemporary Art Fair Cosmoscow announce the launch of the annual competition for Russian artists for a grant in the field of contemporary art Ruinart Art Patronat.

The competition will be held at the fifth, anniversary fair Cosmosco , which will be held in the living room from September 8 to 10. The name of the winner will be announced on September 11.

The Long list of the competition will be formed from modern Russian artists put forward to the grant of Gallery participating in the Cosmoscow fair. Each of the selected artists will present a project in the genre of site science for Ruinart and Cosmoscow 2018 .

The jury includes the founder and director of Cosmoscow Margarita Pushkin, public relations director of Ruinart Jean-Cristopher Lyzo, curator of the non-profit Cosmosco program Alexey Maslyaev, Executive Director of the Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art Vasily Tsereteli and international experts in the field of contemporary art Aliste Hicks.

They will choose a winner who will be awarded a special prize, a grant for the implementation of the proposed project and the opportunity to visit the Ruinart house in the French province of Shampan.

“Such projects always attract special attention and serve as a common cause to promote Russian contemporary art. In addition, this is another opportunity to attract additional attention to the work of artists with which Russian galleries participating in the fair collapse, and for artists this is primarily a chance of implementing the planned project, ”says Margarita Pushkin.

The Ruinart House is a constant cartridge of modern Russian art - under the auspices of Ruinart , in 2015, the Moscow Biennale Art Foundation Award was established. The laureate of the award was the young artist Taus Makhacheva.
