RNS editor-in-chief moves to RBC

The editor-in-chief of the Rambler News Service (RNS) news agency Petr Kanaev has become the first deputy editor-in-chief of the RBC media holding. Kanaev will oversee the production of exclusive news content. This is stated in the press release of the RBC holding.

On August 1, Rambler & Co. Executive Director for Media Alexey Goreslavsky told Vedomosti that RNS editor-in-chief Petr Kanaev would leave his post and move to a management position at the RBC media holding.

Petr Kanaev has headed RNS since the agency’s founding in 2015. Before RNS, Kanaev held the position of deputy editor-in-chief of the economic information service of the TASS agency, and previously headed the business information block of the online publication Gazeta.Ru.
