On August 2, the Sovetsky District Court of Chelyabinsk dismissed the case of organizing an uncoordinated event against Alexei Tabalov, head of the local election headquarters of Alexei Navalny. OVD-Info learned about this from the lawyer of the Agora International Human Rights Group Andrey Lepekhin.
Tabalov claims that he had nothing to do with the action for which he was charged. In his opinion, it was organized by provocateurs. On July 14, three people came out to the administration of Chelyabinsk with posters "Navalny is our president." According to lawyer Lepekhin, these same people had previously interfered with the holding of an environmental rally and, in general, “have been seen by activists at various environmental actions more than once.”
The report on Tabalov was drawn up on July 25, but the court returned the case materials to the police, after which they were again handed over to the court.
