Conor McGregor's sparring partner Paul Malignaggi stopped working with the wrestler after he posted photos from training on Twitter.
Two photos show Malignaggi first standing in front of McGregor and then falling into the ring. The tweet was published three weeks before McGregor's fight with boxer Floyd Mayweather, which will be held under the rules of boxing.
According to the sparring partner, in fact, everything was not like that, and he asks McGregor to post a video of the training. Malignaggi notes that the whole preparation for the fight turned into a fiasco. "It's a circus," he told ESPN.
“I actually kicked his ass and that was 24 hours after the flight, ha. That's why I'm pushing for the video to be published," . Malignaggi tweeted
He also said that sparring with McGregor was extremely intense and brutal. Malignaggi noted that the photo shows the moment when he fell, but immediately got up, and it was not a knockout or a knockdown. Sparring took place on Tuesday, August 1, it lasted 12 rounds and followed the rules of boxing.
