In the Pskov region, the house of a Yabloko deputy was attacked

In the town of Pustoshka, Pskov region, unidentified persons broke windows in the house of Yabloko deputy Svetlana Vasilkova. This was reported on the official website of the party.

Unknown people threw stones only at those windows that were in the living rooms. One of them got on the bed, in which Vasilkova was shortly before.

Svetlana Vasilkova turned to the police and wrote a statement about initiating a criminal case. The deputy believes that the criminal circles of the district, who are trying to intimidate Vasilkova on the eve of the elections, are involved in the incident.

Member of the Pskov Regional Assembly, Chairman of the Pskov Yabloko Lev Shlosberg commented on what happened in Pustoshka:

The "Pustoshkinskaya mafia" is trying to intimidate Svetlana Vasilkova. Several family clans operate in the Pustoshkinsky district, which include officials from local authorities. They control almost all economic activity in the area. These groups are completely corrupt. Svetlana Vasilkova is practically the only deputy of the district Assembly who publicly opposes these forces. She officially applies to the prosecutor's office, punctually monitors the spending of local budget funds, delves into the privatization of municipal property, insists on the real activities of the Chamber of Control and Accounts of the Pustoshkinsky district, helps citizens protect their rights in the housing and communal services sector, and requires justification for tariff setting. There is no more inconvenient deputy in the district Assembly for the authorities of the Pustoshkinsky district. The attack on the house is both an attempt to intimidate and revenge for the fight against crime. We can say that this is an assessment of the activities of Svetlana Vasilkova by the criminal clans of the Pustoshkinsky district.
