In Kazan, police detained two volunteers from the headquarters of Alexei Navalny

In Kazan, police officers detained two volunteers from the local headquarters of Alexei Navalny, Albert Abuzarov and Azat Gabdulvaleev, in the evening. Young people stood with an authorized campaign cube in support of the politician. The young people reported this on the OVD-Info hotline.

According to Abuzarov, the police officers asked “so that it is impossible to refuse” to go with them to the Aviastroitelny police department to give some explanations. The police also decided to take the cube with them. It was not possible to contact the coordinator of Navalny's local headquarters at the time of the publication of the news.

Young people also said that employees of the Center for Combating Extremism filmed them on video cameras all day.
