As reports Interfax , with this decision the court automatically deprived Navalny of the right to participate in the elections until December 2020. Previously, Navalny linked the FSIN’s demand with his nomination for the Russian presidential elections in 2018. According to the head of the election headquarters, Leonid Volkov, extending the probationary period by one year “will not affect in any way” Navalny’s participation in the election process.
