Türkiye sent howitzers to the border with Syria

Turkey transferred the province of the Kilis of the howitzer to the border with Syria, reports Anadolu.

The agency clarifies that we are talking about six trucks with installations. The howitzers, according to the Anadol, will be placed "directly on the border with Syria."

As Reuters adds, tanks were also sent to the border. Kilis borders Afrin on the Syrian region, controlled by Kurdish detachments of folk self -defense (YPG), recalls the agency.

Ankara, writes Reuters, considers YPG a continuation of the Kurdistan working party, which wages an armed struggle with the Turkish authorities.

Reuters writes that there were no official comments from Ankara. According to the authorities of Turkey, they do not plan a war with YPG, but are ready to answer hostile actions, the publication said.
