Dramatic events in Venezuela are spinning for a long time, but in the “lens” of Runet they move quite slowly - apparently, Putin's fishing or grants of the surgeon is more interesting.
Meanwhile, it becomes hotter there - for the weekend, the authorities reported the suppression of the attempt of a military coup.

It seemed that the technologies of color revolutions were exhausted, but this is far from the case. The United States acts on the principle of "why change what works." And if street protests and injection of general hysteria do not give the proper effect, then the power option is used.
And at this moment, power should not tremble. If the government shows weakness, and makes concessions, then ultimately the entire state system will fall apart as a card house. Only a firm hand can protect against such a "hybrid" aggression.
We wish Venezuela to survive and preserve unenvustment from the West.
The logic of events suggests the need for the speedy termination of the powers of the parliament, as one of the main destabilizing factors and the further arrest of persons who incite the civil war in the country, with the expulsion of all foreign diplomats in this involved. As already mentioned earlier, there will be no half -hearted scenario - either Maduro or his opponents will win. Therefore, decisive measures taken by the Chavists are a step in the right direction, where if they do everything right, they will be able to avoid the most radical scenarios of the civil war and the political crisis will be overcome with the minimum number of victims. On the other hand, the decisive actions of Maduro and the support of these actions by the Venezuela Army can push the United States to force the civil war script, when armed speeches aimed at overthrowing the local administrations can be organized in provincial centers from attempts to reach part of the police and the military and, in the ideal case, gain access to the warehouses with weapons, which is necessary to launch a full -fledged civil war .. So the crisis is so far so that the crisis is for now. Not overcome, but rather strives for his climax.
World media has been living Venezuela for a couple of years. Materials every day. We suddenly woke up. Ah, yes, where, where. The dictatorship of the hmyrys living in oil in uniform. Opposition, elections, protests-Arestes. Wow! Hmm, it seems, looks like ...
"In the country" one -man ", by the efforts of the" one party ", there is a systematic destruction of all political institutions."
A familiar situation? Russia went through this in the middle of the zero. Now in Venezuela. Only there, the authorities encountered resistance.
In the country of "developed socialism", in the midst of the coup, the coup arranged by the crazy dictator Nicholas Maduro.
His party dismissed the Prosecutor General of the country for initiating an investigation in connection with suspicions of falsifications during the elections to the National Constituent Assembly. Then they will deal with a change in the Constitution, delegate the president new powers and hello, an authoritarian regime.
During the political crisis, more than a hundred demonstrators died.
This is what happens when the authorities are ready for anything, for self -preservation.
Why did Russia not condemn the actions of Maduro?
Because, in an identical situation, the Russian government would act as well!
Panacea from street clashes - honest elections, a system of checks and counterweights and replacement power. Otherwise, toilet paper may not remain in the oil producing country.
Today, messages began to come from Venezuela on a military coup, then about a terrorist attack on a military base. In fact, some people in the Militarians read a certain appeal and committed some not quite intelligible actions.
In reality, a military coup in Venezuela is an unlikely event. Venezuela is exactly the same "Mafia Steit" as his distant neighbor on the other side of the planet. So, the Constanticious Co -Mafia clans rules the country. Among them there are two most influential. The first is revolutionary trade unions (and we don’t have to laugh, we simply do not understand what it is. In the USSR and Russia (however, in Russia there are no them at all), these are trips, recreation camps and gifts for holidays. Normal capitalists have a powerful resource that can be used so that it is better not to touch it in a bad sense). In general, Maduro - these are trade unions, and they, of course, control the main and the only industry of the country - oil. And, of course, the trade in it.
I wonder why the left intellectuals are silent about Venezuela?
Well, more recently, Venezuela was a light in the window, almost everyone was supposed to love and read the experience of the Bolivarian Revolution, express critical support to Comrade Chavez and forgive him love to Putin, Yanukovych, Ahmadinezhad and other wonderful people, because it is necessary to delve into the difficult geopolitical position of Venezuela, one on one with American imperialism. But the people are raised from the knees, the economy blooms, democracy, progress, at the embassy, again, sometimes they feed.
And now? Where did yesterday's love disappeared? Why do the left practices do not write anything about the critical support of the Maduro regime (except for the completely frostbitten Stalinists), or at least not try to seriously analyze the reasons for its collapse?
The heart of the left intellectual. Windy and unstable.
About left intellectuals is not entirely true. Here, for example, is an excellent appeal in defense of Venezuela from the attacks of world imperialism:
The escalation of the unnecessary war against Venezuela is part of the global offensive of the reaction against the peoples and states that were objectionable to it, whether it be the Republic of Cuba or the Korean People's Democratic Republic, Nicaragua or Iran, Syria or the Republic of Donbass, the People’s Republic of China or the Russian Federation. Everywhere the same thing: extraterritorial sanctions against sovereign countries and their leaders; sprouting with a weapon up to the nuclear; unceremonious subversive activities under the roof of diplomacy; Mocrating the treacherous “fifth column” and hired terrorist armies under the guise of a political opposition. The goal is cynically proclaimed to ensure the superprofits of their business by seizing other people's wealth, enslavement of peoples and strangling competitors.
But nothing is able to intimidate the people awakened by the Bolivarian and Chavist revolution, tempered in the struggle. The courage of thousands of Venezuelans, who did not regret the forces, and sometimes risks their lives in order to fulfill civil duty, is an example for everyone.
We resolutely reject any forms of outside interference in the affairs of the sovereign Venezuela, whether it is non -recognition of the results of the elections, the introduction of economic sanctions, and the provision of pressure on justice. The mercenaries of the aggressors, the murderers of the fellow citizens, the organizers of the economic and legal sabotage completely earned a punishment by the law.
We express our international solidarity with all the defenders of the Bolivarian Revolution. We ask you to convey to comrade President Nicholas Maduros our fighting hello, the wish of indestructible health, vigor and optimism. We are sure that all the machinations of enemies are powerless against the stamina of the free people.

Others predict the fast end of the Nicholas Maduro regime.
It seems that Maduro will only save a transfer to Rostov. Yanukovych will receive a worthy drinking companion, pensioners of the Russian Federation will pay the debt to Sichin ... https://t.co/o84iuy7l6i

About Venezuela and Maduro. Maduro, given his shaky position and powerful support of the opposition, would not dare to break the amendments to the Constitution through buffoon voting if he had not received firm guarantees of China and Russia to support his actions to introduce the dictatorship. The global competition of dictatorships and democracies unfolds with renewed vigor: the club of dictatorship has already defended Assad, in line - the struggle for preserving the Maduro power in power. It is difficult to overestimate the bets: this is essentially the last bridgehead of the Dictatorship Club in Latin America, with its fall before the collapse of the Castro regime will be a stone's throw. China and Russia cannot afford to "lose" Venezuela.
Obviously, they promised Maduro all support, including financial ones, so he clearly demonstrates that he does not care about possible American Sandius, as China and Russia will help.
I think that as soon as Maduro receives some conditionally formal powers with amendments to the Constitution, it is likely that there will be some external forces to “restore order”. That is, to protect the dictatorship. Like in Syria. And at least Maduro’s financial assistance will be provided - but only after he demonstrates that "he is able to solve issues." This help may well neutralize possible sanctions against PDVSA and Citgo (with which Trump is in no hurry, despite all his hawk rhetoric).
I have the feeling that the Venezuelan situation quickly slides into the civil war format, and even despite the support of China and Russia, Maduro will no longer be able to take control. It will be tough. An important role will be played by the position of other Latin American countries, which generally took a rather unambiguous position - Venezuela's membership in Mercosur, as well as Venezuela, has repeatedly announced the withdrawal from the organization of American states (OAG). It is difficult to imagine that the colony of China/Russia will be able to survive on the Latin American continent in the conditions of such isolation. Plus, the opposition is not going to give up, and the economic situation is such that it can no longer endure it.
It is difficult to see a piece of Latin America into Syria, but it seems that it goes to this. Foreign Bosses Maduro forbid him to give up and are ready to pour resources into him - so wait for violence and war.
It turns out now about Venezuela many smart indignant speakers on smart liberal sites. Smart liberal authors exclaim: why Putin still supports the Venezuela regime, which is about to be overthrown. This, they say, is illogical in terms of long -term national interests.
Eshkin cat, yes Putin will always support the regimes against which the exhausted people took up arms. This is class, gendarme solidarity, at the level of reflex, instinct. Hatred and sincere contempt for the people. To any people - Venezuelan, Ukrainian, Syrian. To Russian, potentially, too. What are the long -term national interests to hell.
The Kremlin has a striking Chuyka to search for "friends".
First, Yanukovych in Ukraine, then Bashar al -Assad in Syria, now Nicholas Maduro in Venezuela, who immediately threatens either a military coup or a protracted civil war (the armed performance of captain Juan Kagvaripano began).
The latter is worse - and not only for the Venezuens: suddenly you yourself know who will support the support of the anti -fascist Venezuela brothers. "Donbass? Well, in line, Rusnya: we will first save the Alawit brothers here, then the line of Latinos is suitable. In the meantime, we went to."
In fairness - Assad was just a man with eggs - did not give up even when he was at all without support. If such was Yanukovych, Crimea would be listed on this time of Ukraine. So here with the choice of a friend was lucky. And what a fool Madura - now we will see.
Against this background, curious news continues to come. For example, Rosneft continues to translate billions of advances to the Venezuelan oil company.
They say that Sechin’s personal money is invested in Venezuelan projects, so Maduro needs to be rescued urgently. At the expense of Russian pensioners. https://t.co/jsam0hjsyn
- Guryanov Sergey (@segozavr) August 7, 2017
A slight way to throw $ 2.5 billion was found into the wind: to get Rosneft in the country, which will pay them for Venezuelan oil. And the point is not only that the supplies are already delay, what to invest in Venezuela is like running to hide money in a burning house.
The fact is that one cannot but support the fraternal Madura.
The logic is about the same as with the loan of Yanukovych. He’s his own class, close, hats in the toilets stole. And in the Kremlin, the foreheads are wrinkled, the global backyards are crossing in search of who is the same as they themselves, who else to give money here.
It sounds wild, but everything has long been described in the “autumn of the patriarch” of Marquez: there is no prophet in his fatherland.
So soon there will be a reason to write off a few more foreign debts. And Sechin, in order to cover the costs, will squeeze the next oil company under Rosneft. Yukos, "Bashneft" - what else is bad there?
Konstantin Eggert also writes about economic motives - his column is published by the German Wave:
The Kremlin nervously observes the situation in Karakas. The ghost of the "Latin American Maidan" is nervous of the Russian leadership. That is, it is frightened by any folk movement against authoritarianism in any country in the world. However, Venezuela is a special case. Moscow first cultivated Chavez, and then his heir for the past 15 years, and not just out of the desire to support another enemy of the United States (this motive is always present in the actions of official Russia).
There is another good reason. The PDVSA State Oil Company is the second most important foreign partner Rosneft after the American Exxonmobil. And if we take into account the scale of the projects of the Russian company in Venezuela and the preferences received by it, then the country can be called the number one site for demonstrating Igor Sechin, the possibilities of the corporation controlled by him and the Kremlin.
Therefore, Moscow tries to help the Chavistam as he can. On July 10, Vladimir Putin talked with Maduro by phone. According to the official version, he discussed with him the development of joint projects in the energy sector. I think that most likely the Venezuelan client asked the Kremlin cartridge to restructure the state debt to Russia a size of $ 1 billion. Apparently, the consent was received and the debt was received, perhaps not only will be restructured, but completely forgiven. <...>
A sense of solidarity with Maduro and the company, which, like the inhabitants of the Kremlin, have become the object of American sanctions, in Moscow now very much. Any actions of the Americans are now perceived by the Kremlin as a model of possible actions regarding the Russian authorities and state -owned companies. Therefore, Moscow would like to do more for Karakas than restructuring debts and powerless words of support.
The Kremlin will not be able to provide military assistance to the Venezuelan regime, and it does not need it in this situation. It is not necessary to push Maduro to the reprisal against the opposition, just as they did with Viktor Yanukovych - they themselves are ready to plant and kill them. Unless some Russian "advisers" who urgently "resigned" from special forces will teach Venezuelan security officials, as more precisely to shoot or knock out testimonies from the detainees.
However, who can teach whom and what here is also a question. It is now impossible to influence America, which has just imposed sanctions against Nicholas Maduro and his clicks. The Kremlin can just wait for the outcome of the Venezuelan drama and ask unpleasant questions. For example, will Donald Trump introduce the embargo for the supply of Venezuelan oil?
Meanwhile, reports "Vedomosti" , Venezuela lenders are preparing for her default:
The fierce confrontation of the President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro and the opposition, as well as the catastrophic situation in the country's economy, force creditors to prepare for its default. At the end of July, Lee Bucchate, a specialist in the sovereign debts of the Law Firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, and Mita Gulaty, professor of the law of the American Duke University, published a report “How to restructure a Venezuelan debt”. The total volume of external debts of the country is definitely not known. According to the authors of the report, it exceeds $ 100 billion, of which about $ 60 billion are bonds of the government and the PDVSA oil company.
It is also known about China's loans for more than $ 60 billion (Venezuela is calculated by them with oil). <...>
Although the default will release the means to finance internal needs (the country has been suffering from a catastrophic shortage of food, essential goods, medicines for several years), it will mean that lenders will try to arrest the Acts of Venezuela, including the supply of oil - in fact, the only source of solid currency for the government, Eurasia Group experts indicate.
There are still reasonable people ... It is a pity that not in Moscow ...
