Oppositionist Sergei Udaltsov was released after 4.5 years of imprisonment in the "Swamp case"

The coordinator of the opposition movement “Left Front” Sergey Udaltsov was released from the Tambov colony. The activist served the conclusion last 4.5 years, which he received in 2012 for organizing riots at the protest campaign on May 6. The liberation of the opposition was confirmed by his lawyer Violett Volkov.

Wife Udaltsova Anastasia said that he was initially released on August 9.
