Yabloko election picket attacked in Barnaul

On August 9, in Barnaul, an unidentified person attacked an election picket of the local branch of the Yabloko party. This is stated in the message on the official website of the party.

During the picket, an unknown man cut a part of the campaign cube with a knife and damaged the phone of one of the participants. The organizers detained the attacker and handed him over to the police who arrived at the scene. The pre-election picket was coordinated with the administration of Barnaul.

Members of the Yabloko party were repeatedly attacked before the elections. In early August, in the town of Pustoshka, Pskov Region, unidentified persons broke windows in the house of Yabloko deputy Svetlana Vasilkova, who is running for the local Assembly of Deputies.
