Aeroflot passengers flying together will be able to summarize a mass of baggage

Aeroflot allowed jointly flying passengers to summarize a lot of baggage. The corresponding amendment to the rules of the airline was made on the protest of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office, according to the website of the Prosecutor General’s Office .

“Based on the results of consideration of the protest, the airline’s rules are brought into line with the requirements of the law. Now Aeroflot passengers, flying together at the same airport with the same flight, can freely use the option of summing up their baggage, ”the report said.

Prior to this, Aeroflot did not allow passengers flying together to summarize the norms of the free baggage transported by him and forced to overpay if their total suitcase or bag weighs more than 23 kg. At the same time, the federal aviation rules establish the obligation of the carrier to summarize these norms at the request of passengers flying together, subject to the above conditions.
