
The administration of the village of Solovetsky in the Arkhangelsk region turned to the police with a request to check the days of the memory of the victims of the Soviet terror and the Gulag, which have been held for 29 years, for a violation of the law on mass events. She said that the organizers of the action, as in previous years, sent invitations to the local authorities to take part in the event. The same invitation was sent to the director of the Solovetsky Museum Vladimir Shutov. It was it, according to Krylenkova, that became the basis for a police check.
“We always sent invitations to all Solovetsky authorities. Sometimes these days of memory were spent together with the museum, sometimes separately. Both the administration and the museum did not take part in the action this time, ”said the interlocutor.

“The authorities can try to do something with memory, but memory is such a thing with which it is difficult to do something. We trained 30 years, we will ride.
