Before the event, the police forbade activists to hold a march on the Marse field, after which the audience decided to hold a rally. According to Nazarov, the rally was calm, the activists did not interfere.

At that moment, when Nazarov called the hotline of the OWD-Info, a girl with a poster and a rainbow flag was loaded on a bus.

UPD. 16:20 Fontanka writes that after the end of the promotion, when activists and journalists crossed the 2nd garden bridge near Marsov Paul, young people attacked them in tracksuits and sprayed gas from pepper cans into the face. In particular, about 10 activists, journalists Current Time, photographer David Frenkel and Fontanka correspondent Ksenia Klochkova were injured. The victims turned to the police and called an ambulance. As Devid Frenkel noted, at least 15 fighters of the National Guard, who did not try to interfere with the attackers, observed the attack.

After the police banned the procession, unknown people attacked two girls who moved away from the venue of the event and sprinkled in their face with a spray can.
