In Chechnya there is a trial of nine detainees in winter

About Alimkhanov, Askhabov, Dachaev and Yusupov, it is reported that they are former students of the Rostov Law Institute. All the defendants were detained in early February in the Naderechny district and placed in a pre-trial detention center-2 in the village of Chernokozovo, Naursky district of Chechnya. They are charged with Article 208 (the organization of illegal armed formation or participation in it) and 222 of the Criminal Code (illegal turnover of weapons), including through parts 1 (preparation for crime) and 3 of Article 30 of the Code (attempt on crimes). According to the plot, the defendants intended to go to Syria and join the Islamic State.

The accusation is based on the testimony of Islam Dzukaev, declared by the ideologist of the group and the organizer of its sending to the Middle East. Materials in relation to Dzukaev himself are allocated into separate production; In the case, which is considered in Znamensky, he passes a witness.

As one of the participants in the process told the Caucasus. Realiyam, during the investigation, the SKR officials said that Dzukaev was wanted. During the trial, it turned out that he was detained in Moscow and was transferred to Rostov-on-Don. At the same time, speaking at the trial, Dzukaev said that the last time he saw the defendants in September 2016, and then left his wife to work in the Russian capital and did not support more contacts with the accused.

The process started already at the end of July; Three meetings took place in the case. Detailed information about the process of proceedings, the publication says, does not have a publication. It is only known that all nine defendants refused to admit guilt, saying that the case was fabricated.

They were illegally held by the police until March 14 and only then were charged.

The raids in Chechnya began after the events of December 17-18, 2016, when several armed attacks on police officers occurred in Grozny, as stated.
