Rostec's subsidiary became the only supplier of medicines for the Federal Penitentiary Service

The National Immunobiological Company (Natsimbio, a subsidiary of Rostec) became the only supplier of drugs for the Federal Penitentiary Service in 2017–2018, according to a government order published on the official portal of legal information.

The fact that Rostec’s subsidiary will be the only supplier of medicines for prisoners became known in April from a draft order prepared by the Federal Penitentiary Service.

In December 2016, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that Nacimbio could become the only supplier of drugs for the treatment of HIV, tuberculosis and hepatitis in Russia.

Nacimbio was the only supplier of tuberculosis drugs to the Federal Penitentiary Service from 2014 to 2016.
