FSB: The "saboteur of the SBU" Limeko was detained in Crimea

The FSB announced the detention in the annexed Crimea of ​​the 24-year-old citizen of Ukraine Gennady Limeko (Lymeshko), who allegedly prepared a series of sabotage at infrastructure facilities. The message is published on the special services website.

It is claimed that a native of the village of Sakhnovschina, Kharkov region, Limeko previously participated in the ATO as a scout in one of the units of the Ukrainian army, and then became an agent of the SBU in the Kherson region. On August 9, the FSB states, the Ukrainian received tasks to disable the LEP Sudak - New Light, destroy or damage the forest in the area of ​​Sudak - Rybachye - Alushta, provoke the collapse of the rocks for the overlap of the Sudak -New Light, as well as set fire to "one of the objects of communal economy" in the fishing area.

On August 12, the special service claims, Limeko was detained while trying to damage the power lines. Under him, they say, two TNT checkers were found, a tatting mechanism for putting explosives, RGD-5 grenade, containers with combustible mixture, as well as a manual saw for drinking wooden power lines and a camera for “documenting sabotage activity” and “Reporting before the SBU curators”.

As reported on Tuesday on the website of the Kiev District Court of Simferopol, controlled by Russia, on the eve of August 14, Limeko was arrested for two months after October 13. At the same time, according to the court, only part 1 of Article 223.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (illegal production of explosives), which provides for from 3 to 6 years of the colony, is charged with him.

Later, the FSB distributed a video with grateful testimony of Limeko.

Meanwhile, the SBU described the message of the Russian special services as "another provocation." The words "SBU Agent" in the commentary of the department are taken into quotation marks.

In turn, the country's Ministry of Defense told Interfax -Ukraine that Limeko in November 2016 - May 2017 served under a contract in one of the units of the ground forces, but was fired for a systematic violation of discipline. The military ministry did not mention the participation of the arrested in the ATO and the intelligence service.

According to the "channel" of the press secretary of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan, on August 9, Limeko really left the continent to the annexed Crimea, but there were no TNT drafts or other prohibited items under him. “From the side of the invaders he was also passed on the peninsula without any problems,” the official added.

Earlier, Mediazona reports , Limeshko served in the 8th separate battalion of Aratt, one of the formations of the Right Sector (since December 2015 - the Ukrainian Volunteer Army). As Olga Brown, coordinator of the Aratta headquarters, told the publication, Limeshko served in the battalion from the beginning of 2015 to August 2016 and had a call sign Morphine.

The mother of the arrested Rimm Ryzhkov told Mediazone that after dismissal from the army, Limehko went to work in Mariupol and rarely got in touch, and from August 9 he stopped calling at all.

In continental Ukraine, Limeko had a wife and a recently born son.

The FSB fabricated in Crimea there are already three cases of "Ukrainian saboteurs."

The Russian special service announced the detention of the first group of "saboteurs", allegedly sent to Crimea by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in August last year. The defendants in the case were Evgeny Panov from the Energodar of the Zaporizhzhya region and the Crimean Andrei Zakhtei, a native of the Lviv region.

In the same case, the Kharkov trucker Vladimir Zasich was detained, but he was eventually convicted under an article on drugs .

Also at the end of July 2016, the 27-year-old Crimean Tatar Redvan Suleimanov, who came from continental Ukraine to his parents, was detained in Crimea. He was accused of making a false call to the police on the instructions of Ukrainian intelligence on the mining of a number of transport infrastructure facilities. Suleimanov pleaded guilty. On August 10, 2017, he was sentenced to 1 year of 8 months of general regime .

In November last year, the FSB detained three defendants in the second case of "saboteurs": the former Ukrainian naval sailor Vladimir Dudk and military experts Dmitry Styblikov and Alexei Bessarabov. They were accused of preparing "sabotage shares at military infrastructure and life support facilities."

A few days later, the arrest of two defendants in the third case was announced - Alexei Stognia and Gleb Shabliya. Stogniy admitted that he was a colonel, senior officer of the 13th department of the 1st Department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and collected information about facilities, infrastructure, ships and officers of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol. However, in the end, he was sentenced to three and a half years of the colony under articles on illegal turnover and manufacture of weapons.
