The court in Saratov dismissed the administrative case against the protest participant on March 26

The Volzhsky District Court of Saratov dismissed the administrative case against Viktor Smirnov, who was detained at an anti-corruption rally on March 26. No corpus delicti was found in the activist's actions, reports . Svobodnye Novosti news agency

Earlier, the same court fined Smirnov 10,000 rubles under Part 5 of Art. 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (Violation by a participant of the procedure for holding a public event). On July 24, the Saratov Regional Court overturned this decision and sent the case back for retrial.
