US President Donald Trump announced that he is closing both expert councils with the participation of leading American entrepreneurs, which were established under him last winter.

The decision came after several businessmen left the boards amid Trump's controversial response to events in Charlottesville. Among them were, in particular, the head of Intel Brian Krzhanich, the head of the pharmaceutical company Merck Kenneth Fraser and the head of the manufacturer of canned soups Campbell's Denise Morrison.

Morisson said that Trump should have made it clear after the incident that the murder and racism cannot be put on a par with "anything else that happened in Charlottesville."
