In second place in the ranking of the most expensive private houses in Spain is a chalet in Marbella with 10 bedrooms and two guest buildings. Its area is 4000 sq. meters, and the price is 27 million euros.
Rounding out the top three most expensive houses is a 17th-century chalet, which is also located in Mallorca, in the municipality of Puigpunyent. This historic building with 10 rooms has an area of 3000 sq. m. meters. They are asking 26.5 million euros for it.
June was a record year for the Spanish property market
Notaries are recording record levels in the Spanish residential property market. Property sales and mortgage lending in Spain rose to their highest levels in June, the General Council of Notaries reported.
In the first month of summer, 23,223 mortgages were issued in the country, which is 19.2% more than a year ago and generally more than at any time on record, reports Idealista.com .
In addition, 51,477 residential properties were sold in June. This is 17.4% more than in the same period last year. Only in December 2012 they sold more.
