Putin allowed the Ministry of Defense to remove the land

Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed the Ministry of Defense to seize land for state -owners. The corresponding decree is published on the official portal of legal information.

As noted in the document, the department “makes within its competence a decision on the reservation and seizure of land for state needs of the Russian Federation in order to build and reconstruct defense facilities”.

In addition, the Ministry of Defense will be able to issue permits for the construction and commissioning of “defense and security facilities”, which are included not only in the military infrastructure of the Armed Forces, but also of the National Guard forces. According to the current rules, the agency had the right to issue permits only for the construction of Sun.

In May, the FSB received the right to remove land. In March, a similar decision was made in relation to the FSO.
