According to Foreign Policy, at the beginning of their activities in Wikileaks, they stated that they have many documents related to Russia. However, only a few of them were published. The issue of Assange’s connections with Russia was again raised in 2016, when it became known that Wikileaks did not publish a transaction in the amount of 2 billion euros between the Syrian regime and the State Russian Bank in 2012.
