Vadim Korovin was released from the police department

Candidate for municipal deputies of the Moscow Filevsky Park district Vadim Korovin was released from the Tverskoy police station, Korovin himself said on Twitter. Despite rupturing the ligaments in his left hand as a result of being detained in the parking lot of the Moscow City Hall, Korovin was detained for more than 10 hours.

An administrative violation report was drawn up against the activist, who was detained at about 8:30 today after refusing to remove his car from the parking lot at the Moscow City Hall.

At about six o'clock in the evening he was brought to the Tverskoy District Court of Moscow. Before this, the police stopped at the prosecutor's office - to consider the case of an offense against Korovin, the prosecutor's sanction is necessary, since he is registered as a candidate in the elections. However, the judge refused to accept the case materials, returned them to the police, and the activist was taken back to the department. He was soon released.

This morning, Korovin was rudely detained at the mayor's office by five National Guard officers who were carrying out instructions from a certain mayor's office security officer. First, one of the security forces ordered the activist to remove his car, but he refused because there were no signs prohibiting parking in the parking lot.

When Korovin returned to the car 15 minutes after this conversation, five security officials approached him: first they demanded his documents; then they offered to go to the police department and were also refused. After that, they tied up Korovin, as a result of which he received a serious injury to his left arm. According to the activist, the injury was caused by Major Kustarev, who sharply twisted his arm.

Due to pain in his arm, an ambulance was called to the mayor's office, and doctors took Korovin to the Sklifosovsky Institute. After the necessary procedures, the activist was taken to the Tverskoy police station to draw up a report.
