Seven people were injured as a result of a new terrorist attack in Spain

As a result of an attempt to commit a terrorist attack in the Spanish city of Cambrils, seven people were injured. This is reported by the Catalan police on Twitter.

The terrorists tried to knock down pedestrians in an Audi A3 car, but the police managed to open fire on them. Six civilians and one policeman were injured in the incident.

According to the country's law enforcement agencies, four attackers were killed on the spot, the fifth died later from his wounds. It is noted that they were wearing suicide belts.

An attempted new terrorist attack in Cambrils occurred after the attack in Barcelona, ​​where 13 people were killed and more than 100 were injured.

The day before, the van drove into a crowd of pedestrians on the tourist Las Ramblas in the center of Barcelona. Responsibility for the attack was claimed by the militants of the Islamic State (the organization was recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in Russia).
