A report is drawn up against a Murmansk activist for distributing newspapers from Navalny’s headquarters

On August 18, the district police officer brought Violetta Grudina, an activist of the Murmansk headquarters of politician Alexei Navalny, a summons to report to the police on August 23 to draw up an administrative protocol on violation of the rules for organizing a public action (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Grudina reported this to OVD-Info by calling the hotline.

On August 6, seven activists (including four minors) were detained in Murmansk while distributing newspapers and balloons. A few hours later they were released from the police department without drawing up protocols, the parents came for the minors.

The police considered that Grudina organized an illegal public rally, but did not draw up a protocol, as they sent a request to the city administration for approval of the rally.
