Udaltsov: Congress of the Left Front will be held until the end of the year

The restorative congress of the Left Front will take place until the end of the year. This was stated by the coordinator of movement Sergei Udaltsov, Interfax reports .

“Already in the fall, in the second half of September, we plan, at least in Moscow, to hold meetings, conferences, to collect our asset and develop the agenda, and by the end of the year to go to the recovery All -Russian congress of the Left Front. People from the regions will come, we will choose a new leadership,” Udaltsov said.

As Udaltsov emphasized, the leadership of the movement was always collegial, "without a leader, without a leader," and this should remain. “In the near future, we will be engaged in the old activists to raise“ out of deep frost ”, and a lot of new people calls, are interested in, they want to take part in our work,” said the coordinator of the Left Front.

According to Udaltsov, negotiations are now underway on the entrance with a variety of movements, from anarchists to the Social Democrats, including the United Communist Party, the Rotfront organization and other left-wing socialists. The coordinator of the Left Front also counts on cooperation with the parliamentary left -wing parties. The existing division must be overcome so that by the beginning of 2018, when the actual phase will enter the president’s choice, left -wing forces actively participated in all processes, he emphasized. According to Udaltsov, a single candidate should be nominated from the left opposition. However, at this stage, there are “only landmarks on this issue”, he admitted.

In the fall, the Left Front is going to hold protest promotions, Udaltsov said. "On November 7, a large -scale action is ahead of the centenary of the revolution. We will ensure that it is a single action in Moscow and regions, without separation," he said. On issues of protesting actions, interaction with the liberal opposition and other political forces is possible, the coordinator of the movement believes.

On August 8, Udaltsov, convicted in the swamp case by four and a half years of the general regime, was released from IK-3 in the village of Zeleny in the Tambov region, completely serving his term .
