A criminal case was opened against the general director of the Tion Group of Companies Dmitry Trubitsyn under Article 238.1 of Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Production and sale of unregistered medical devices committed on a large amount, by a group of persons by prior conspiracy"). The situation around the Tion Group of Companies, which is engaged in research, development and production of air cleaning equipment, unfolded long before the establishment of a criminal case. The criminal case was instituted only in June, the basis for him, among other things, was an examination conducted by one of the centers of Roszdravnadzor. The co-founder of Tion Oksana Trubitsyna claims that in the examination there are no, in fact, technical tests of equipment that could lead to any conclusions. In addition, the results of this examination were obtained by Tion two months after its implementation, and by this moment, as Oksana notes, they were already used by our competitors.

The main claim of the investigation, as well as competitors (which is below), is related to the photocatalytic filter, which equipped the air purification equipment of the company until 2011. The investigation states that Trubitsyn secretly stopped the equipment of the brisers with these filters, without informing the customers and leaving the equipment price at the same level. The investigation also believes that the absence of photocatalytic filters nullifies the ability to disinfect the air and, following a rather perverted logic, can become a source of harm to health. In this episode there is one incorrect circumstance that completely eliminates the crime event: companies are charged with a hidden rejection of the filter in 2015-2016, while they got rid of it openly in 2011. Vitaliy Folts, general director of the Tion Holding Company, explains in the CPO of RS: “The abandonment of the photocatalytic block in 2011 was openly. This can be traced by changes in registration certificates in 2011 and our marketing materials. The absence of a photocatalytic block throughout this time was positioned as a competitive advantage of Tion equipment, and the market was perfectly aware of this.”

The company believes that the investigation chose this time period due to the fact that it was then (from January 2015) that Article 238.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation was introduced, which gave a formal occasion to institute criminal proceedings. Oksana Trubitsyna explains that the conclusions "on the danger of the use of equipment are made on the basis of an inappropriate compliance of the mass of the air cleaner specified in the operating manual and the mass indicated in the registration dossier." The new registration certificate was received only in early 2017, and this is a certificate for the same devices, the illegal implementation of which is charged with Trubitsyn. Moreover, the investigation believes the receipt of new registration certificates by an attempt to conceal the traces of the crime.

One could consider the whole thing that has come far from a legal collision, if not for the persistent hints of participants in the process for dirty competition. Trubitsyn himself was shared by a foggy post by the supposedly representative of a competing company, who was depressed by dishonest methods of competition, allegedly practiced in relation to Tion of a certain “third party”. Oksana Trubitsyna, as already indicated above, also speaks of some competitors. Vitaly Volz voiced the official position of freedom: "We do not suspect anyone, we do not participate in the creation and distribution of rumors." Rumors appear, however, without the participation of the company, and even Vladimir Soloviev on October 10, 2016 devotes part of the broadcast to Tiona to Vestfm, where he actually accuses Marat Zagidullov of using the administrative resource for pressure from competing. It is enough to read Zagidullov’s fragmentically existing biography to believe even the above radio host. One way or another, in 2014, Zagidullov buys 50% of the shares of the company producer of the Potk-Internet LLC, which by that time almost disappears from the market (the company's annual profit in 2012 is 1.68 million rubles; for comparison: “Tion” earned 450 million in 2012). Zagidullov promises in addition to investing and promoting the company's products; True, it does not report what ways. It is not clear why the “stream” is called the main competitor of “Tion”-either because of Zagidullov, or because of the unique technologies that the “stream” supposedly possesses. It is also not clear why this company was voiced on the air "Vestfm" as a customer; Solovyov quotes Trubitsyn’s personal letter in the program, from which we can conclude that it was the founder of “Tion”, who, which himself was admitted by the knowledge of “what is happening and who is behind”, shared in private with the leading data on the subcutaneous struggle.
