He has 120 thousand subscribers on Instagram , 8 million people watched his most famous video , and most of them love the Kiev Ruffer Mustang (Mustang Wanted) for daring to stunts, which an ordinary person is afraid to even think about. When you see how it hangs on one hand on the top of the skyscraper or goes along the arrow of the tower crane, it becomes bad. This game with death has been going on for many years, and each tour ends with the victory of Mustang.

Three years ago, on August 20, 2014, the army of Mustang fans grew due to completely different people who are not fond of Rufing. Then, in the midst of battles in the Donbass, he arrived in Moscow, climbed the Stalin High -rise on the Kotelnikiye embankment and painted the star on the spire so that it began to resemble the Ukrainian flag. This performance enraged the Russian special services, and innocent people suffered in anything: they missed the Mustang, but they arrested Beisjampers who climbed Vysotka on the same day.

In September 2014, the Tagan court of Moscow announced the absentee arrest of Mustang and his international wanted list (though only in the CIS countries) for vandalism and hooliganism. The case of painting the star was investigated as a super -wry. And Mustang, meanwhile, set off as a volunteer to the east of Ukraine, where there were fights. “I understand this war is very simple,” he says. “As if gopniks attacked you on the street.”

In the summer of 2014, I met with Mustang in Prague and recorded a big conversation with him - mainly about politics. Mustang talked about how he made a documentary during a revolution in Kiev.

Now he himself will become the hero of the film, which is called "They kill death." The presentation was held at the Toronto Film Festival , and Rufer Oleg Krikita from Yekaterinburg and an extreme duet from Novosibirsk - Vadim Makhorov and Vitaliy Prakalov will be starred in addition to Mustang.

In the summer of 2014, I observed how Mustang climbs to the Cathedral of St. Vita, now he came to Prague for only one day, on the way to Iceland, and decided to climb into the Prague Town Hall. And that time he was detained by the police, and this, too, and one of the police officers, the amball, engaged in powerlifting, tried to take the camera from him, and when this failed, he hit the Mustang.

Our conversation begins with this unpleasant incident. “For a long time, the cops did not beat me. This did not cause much harm to me, but maybe he will not beat his wife at home,” Mustang laughs.

- You're on the international wanted list?

- I don't know. I was then announced, but, as far as I know, Ukraine blocked this request. Three years have already passed, I have been going everywhere, no problems.

- Now you go without a visa?

- Yes, the first time. Many people were waiting for this, some doubted. And I thought that they would simply declare visa -free, and that’s all, there would be nothing grandiose. Nothing grandiose happened. Just fewer problems with documents.

- Where have you been in these three years? I saw on your Instagram that you were on the Niagara waterfall ... Where else?

- This is a problem, I have a memory like a fish. I don't remember. If the topic with the police went when we went to Toronto, they took me twice in three days. Once we took a picture on Niagara, I was a fine of $ 40, the second time I was caught by Undercover Police on the roof. Then ordinary cops arrived. The police begin to scold you, they climb into the soul directly. He says: you know, it is very dangerous. You say: yes, man, I'm so cool, I train. You show him pictures. He says: you are cool, but you must understand that there is responsibility, someone can repeat and die, because he does not have such training as yours. The same tricks all over the world: good-bad policeman, plus, if you do not know any laws, try to violate your rights. The same Canadian, who are supposedly the most polite, swear, begin to scream, create a conflict situation. I think this is inadequate. He tells me: give me your phone, I want to see what you shot. I say: I won’t give, I have pictures there, I am naked in d u u, why do you need this? .. In the emirates, there were normal police officers. The guard caught me, stupidly pulled out the camera, and before that I pulled out the flash drive, hid it under my lip. Such a healthy guard, almost really did not start to beat me.

- Where did you climb?

- On Princess Tower, 416 meters. He just yelled in English. He has madness, rage in his eyes. I really thought he would start to beat me. He pushed normally a couple of times. The police come, he immediately like a small girl begins to complain to them: "He broke the door." I did not break the door, I climbed, I did not touch anything at all. In his hands holds GoPro. They tell him: "Give him a camera." I was lucky then, I showed my pictures, and I was released. Such tricks in the Emirates do not always work. Once we were released, we also took a picture, once we ran away. We climb once - there were two guys with me. We climb, and here is such a cry, from afar, guards run on us, they have huge shadows long. They scream loudly and run right at us. And we want to climb back, but we need to run a certain distance, go down, that is, we will be caught in any way. But the more they approach, the less they become. It turns out that they have an average growth of meter 55, probably. They begin to run slower, understand that there are three or four of them, and three of us - if they catch us, then the situation may not end in their favor. They begin to run slower, so that we can calmly climb and leave.

- You came to Toronto to the presentation of the film. The film has already been shot?

- Now preparatory work is underway, they write the script. I do not take part in this. There are four main characters there. When everything will be ready, I think they will be removed very quickly, because there is a very cool team. In short, there will be a cool movie, buy tickets.

- He has not been in Moscow since then or secretly made his way?

- He was not, and there was no desire.

“You are a person who always wants to get to where it is forbidden.” I don't want to go to Russia?

- There are not many interesting objects. I was there three times, and each time some garbage occurred. In St. Petersburg, the police were also looking for me.

- When did you climb onto the bridge ?

- Yes. In Moscow, when I arrived for the first time, we took pictures, they scattered very much on the Internet. I did not really know what Instagram was, they parted before the fig. The second time I went to St. Petersburg - it was Kipish, went to Moscow again - it was the last time, and that’s it.

-There is no desire to secretly penetrate and something else to do?

- Why?

- For the sake of hype.

“I'm not doing it for the sake of hype.”

“Well then, to annoy them.”

-I do not have such a goal to annoy to someone, I am quite kind.

- Do you even want Putin?

-I do not think that he is some important person in my life. Not such a scale of a figure. So, by the way, it has always been. Just people interpret the way they want. Someone wants to see the enemy in me, he sees an enemy in me, someone wants to see a stupid jaw of the patriot in me, he will see. I do not have time to conduct any discussions, to prove something to someone. I have a rather clear position, those who know me know how things are. I do not see the point of explaining something in detail now, to prove - this is boring.

- You had right views soon. He did not go left in recent years?

You look at a person, he seems to look adequate, and then comes home, turns on “Lube”, enters the public and writes “Novorossia”, DPR, we will turn everyone into nuclear ashes

- I always had my views. I do not want me to be attributed to the right, to the left, I don't like it all. I am familiar quite closely with the whole right -wing movement. Most people only say - right, left, it doesn’t matter - but they are not able to do anything. People can always be controlled by symbols, stereotypes. The St. George ribbon is a friend, the swastika is an enemy. That's how they control. In the same way, they control among the right ones: this dude is our friend, and this is a little black, or a little Jew, or a Jew, but the right one, means normally. This is a manipulation, I understood this already at the age of 17. I just go nuts with how easy it is to manipulate people and bring them to emotions.

-The Ukrainian-Russian conflict drove millions of people crazy.

- It seems to me that these people have gone crazy for a long time. You look at a person, he seems to look adequate, and then comes home, turns on “Lube”, enters the public and writes “Novorossia”, DPR, we will turn everyone into nuclear ash, burn all fagots, begin to wipe such game. You understand that a person has problems with his head. In principle, I have such a theory that people should be treated as crazy. You meet a person, communicate, and if the dude suddenly begins to behave like a psycho, I am not surprised, because I initially treat him like a psycho. I understand that the probability that he is normal is small: most likely he is a sick. I think so you need to move around this planet.

- I know why: you read Dostoevsky a lot. Is this your favorite writer?

- It was, now certainly not.

- Who is now?

- Yes, no. I like to read, I like books. I have a problem: I think a lot, I can't sleep normally. In principle, I sleep badly, but now imagine: I will read a couple of books in a week and generally go nuts. I sometimes take pauses on purpose, I don’t read anything for a couple of months. When I start to read, I usually turn hard: I sit down and can read from the crust to the crust quite quickly.

- What book did I take to Iceland?

- "A hundred years of loneliness." There are books that I do not like at all. Here is Paulo Coelho. I read a couple of books and I think: well, why? I like Irwin Welsh, recently re -read his book "Glue". Lord, I almost cried, such a cool book.

- You say - all crazy. You will remain in history as the author of a political gesture ...

- I do not consider this a political gesture. Here you need to figure out that there is a policy. Suppose, if we pay for travel, we also participate in politics.

- All politics, but it has different floors, and you climbed to the top floor, symbolically and literally climbed to where no one had yet got. And you struck them a terrible blow, they were shocked.

Neither praise nor criticism make me stronger

- Then I went to Facebook, saw how many comments were there. People wrote good words, they don’t say this for my birthday. That's it, closed the window and never looked at them again. So I don't know if good or bad there. I don’t care at all, because neither praise nor criticism make me stronger. If something gave me something, if something made me stronger, if I had become at least a little better because of this, then, probably, it would be worth attention. And this is a very dangerous thing.

- And what makes you stronger?

- I myself am quite strong.

- On the street they stop you, pester, take pictures?

- There was anything, not only in Kiev. I often refuse, I don't like it. People are awesome, as if you spat in his face: you don’t want to take a picture with me?! They begin to persuade, especially men do this. Okay, if girls, we could still agree somehow. I say: why do I need this? You ask a question: I want to take a picture. This is a normal question, and it is normal to get a refusal, not to be completely offended. It would seem that everything is simple, but almost always happens somehow wrong. Therefore, people, I say, crazy, really crazy. Every fifth is not a psycho - my hypothesis.

- And you?

- I am an absolutely normal law -abiding citizen, such as everyone.

- Do you want to be crazy?

- It does not depend on desire. There are people really crazy - brilliant, talented. And there are people who want to be like that, they want to seem that they are psycho. But this is a pseudo, and this is visible. There is always something in the trend, but there is a present. I have a comrade, he glues planes, sits for hours, glues small details. You are sitting with him, he talks to you and glues the plane. You understand that in two hours he glued one tiny detail. He does this all his life, and he is cool. This is his topic, he likes it, and it really looks. I like to watch how he does it. You can talk about planes with him, he is completely immersed.

But you ask a person: what do you want to do? Imagine that you have complete independence, a million dollars, what will you do? One hundred percent of people say they want to travel. Although in fact, in order to travel, you just need not to be afraid that you will not have money when you live to your old age, if you live before it. Take and go. This can be done relatively inexpensive. But everyone finds some problems. It seems to me that one of the reasons why everyone likes to travel: Life is boring and emotions are needed. But I do not get some crazy pleasure from this. May all these billions of people will forgive me who dream of going somewhere. I like the engine.

“You're driving all the time.”

- No, I was in Kiev all this summer, I was awesome. I went to the hall, climbed, took off something. I did what I liked. I like something or some idea will appear, I will go somewhere.

- If you had 10 million dollars, what would you do?

- The same thing as now. What would you do if you found out that tomorrow will fall a meteorite to the ground and we will die?

- I would sob.

- I would not do anything, I would live the same way I lived. The person says: I will change everything, I will have time to try something. So you are a loser in life, you did nothing. The only day you will live as a person. And if you always lived the way you wanted, then the last day you will live the way you want.

“Do you live as you want?”

- Yes.

- And how do you manage it?

I sacrifice some material benefits, but I get complete freedom

-Somehow it succeeds. For example, people want me to constantly post a video or pictures. I don’t have a mood, I don’t want to, I don’t know why. I have depression. And when I do not want to do something, I do not do. This does not mean that I do not climb, I often climb myself, or with someone. I shoot, I do not like these videos, or I do not want to mount them. I just do what I like. And people pester. I don’t care, some comments write, put likes or do not put it. If I do not regularly make content, from the point of view of business I lose, because I have less an audience, I just don’t get money: to get it, I need to constantly do something. But I am myself, I can say at any moment: I will not do it or I will do it. I can do this, but I can stop. All bloggers constantly interact with the audience, and it begins with jokes, and then they constantly think how she will like it, because they will give them money, and they will go to travel with this money - such a vicious circle. And they simply ultimately turn into slaves, they become clowns. In general, I like the image of a clown, but they become bad clowns, they control. I sacrifice some material benefits, but I get complete freedom. I do not want to shoot, I will not, and that’s it.

- A society that gives you glory in exchange assigns part of you. And the more glory you have, the less personal space remains.

- On the one hand, yes. And on the other hand, a person begins. When you become famous when you decided so: I am a cool kid, then you probably already begin to think about it. Life consists of 10% of events and 90% of how we react and how we think. All the battles are happening in our heads. When it occupies most of the mind, thoughts, this is personal space. You go along the rails of fame, you stood on them, you began to think that you are cool. You can take a locomotive at any time, rearrange on other rails and think about something else, about animals, for example. This, by the way, is one of my hypotheses: who controls his thoughts here controls everything else. Sometimes it succeeds - it is cool. Sometimes thoughts jump or go to all composition in different directions, rarely they go along these rails to some sort of subscribers.

“You don’t sleep at night and think how to get through these rails?”

- At night, yes, I often do not sleep. When I’m already very tired, I get out, I put an alarm, I sleep for four hours sometimes, I wake up, the body is tired, wants to sleep more, but I don’t sleep on purpose. I go so a little diluted to go to bed the next evening or to at least bend it out again. It turns out that I do not sleep one and a half to two days, then I sleep sometimes 7 hours, sometimes for a long time, sometimes you sleep badly for three days, then you are cut down. It happens when the body is exhausted, you are cut down for 10 hours, then you go out of this state for a long time. What am I complaining? Everything is good for me.

- Your hand was broken - fell from the skyscraper?

- No, I was not broken, I had an old injury in my shoulder, I did an operation, I did another operation on the brush, and everything is fine.

- Do you know that Beisjamper died , who was going on in the case of a height?

- I know. I don't know him. He climbed to the roof, there were four of them, they jumped, and that’s all. And now he crashed, and some media write that he painted a star, but he did not paint anything. Beisjamping is a dangerous sport, this happens. High probability of death. It is a pity that this happened, condolences to his parents.

- How do Russian rufers relate to you?

“ I don't know, I don't care.” Both Russian and American ruffers bypass me, or I bypass them. How can we cross? Once a month, my phone number changes, a friend can always get to me. I am not sitting, I don't watch comments. Иногда я бываю в какой-то степени социален, но большую часть времени я просто живу своей жизнью. Вживую мне никто ничего никогда не сказал. И до этого в Россию я ездил, у меня всегда были довольно четкие взгляды касательно России, Украины, я их никогда не скрывал. Мне в какой-то степени интересна история. Про Петра, который прорубил окно в Европу. Но есть обратная сторона медали, какой ценой и куда можно было бы направить эти ресурсы. Потому что вбахать такое-то количество на какую-то авантюру, чтобы потешить свое эго – это минус для всего государства, для страны. Мне нравится иногда про такое поговорить, когда настроение есть. Никогда у меня не было никаких конфликтов ни с кем.

– Ты сам стал частью украинской истории… С тобой президент встречался.

– Давай не будем об этом говорить. Кстати, мне нравится, как ты говоришь, что он со мной встречался. Я говорю по-другому: я с ним встречался.

– О'кей, вы друг с другом встречались.

– Я не считаю, что президент или какой-то министр – это сверхчеловек. Это обычный человек, обычный рядовой гражданин. Даже можно убрать "гражданин", это просто человек. Я к ним отношусь ко всем как к людям.

– А вот в России к Путину относятся как к божеству.

– Давай про что-то нормальное поговорим.

– Про любовь?

– Я люблю детей. Дети прикольные.

– Хочешь завести ребенка?

– Да, но я не хочу жениться пока что. Я просто себе не представляю, как это. Ребенка я себе могу представить, ты с ним занимаешься, тусуешься, все нормально, он твой братан. А вот женитьба, я не вижу в обозримом будущем.

– На сколько лет ты себя чувствуешь?

– У меня было неоднократно в жизни – я забывал свой возраст. Я как-то сидел, примерно знал плюс-минус полтора года, я не мог вспомнить конкретно, какой у меня возраст сейчас. Как раз мне позвонила мама в скайпе, мы говорили, и я как-то плавно подвел к этому: кстати, тебе тогда было столько-то лет. Посчитал и вспомнил. Я не знаю, я не уделяю этому внимания. Мы все поживем и сдохнем, какая разница.

– Есть люди, которые всегда чувствуют себя стариками, есть люди, которые чувствуют себя тинейджерами.

– У меня от настроения зависит. Иногда просыпаюсь – чувствую себя разбитым стариком. Но надо начинать что-то делать, тогда ты оживаешь, начинаешь двигаться, снова тебе 18 или 15.

– Но ты и выглядишь на 18.

- This is cool. Я просто побрился, постригся. Ты меня не видел, когда я начитаюсь Достоевского и утром такой встану. Мне не нравится жара, жара просто убивает. В Киеве я реально начинаю офигевать. У меня кот есть, мы вместе с ним офигеваем. Раз солнце зашло, мне хорошо, мы полазили. Сегодня поедем в Рейкьявик, там вообще 13 градусов, я думаю, мне будет там классно. Дождь, прохладно.

– Небоскребов там нет. Залезешь на вулкан?

- I don't care. Я буду делать все, что захочу, и в Рейкьявике, и в Киеве, и вообще везде.
