The Program of the Kansk Video Festival was announced

In the competition program of the XVI International Kansky Video Festival, which will be held from August 23 to 27 in the city of Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, 23 films from 16 countries of the world will take part.

The festival program is published on his website . Competition shows will take place within three evenings in the forest for the Kansky Drama Theater.

The main prize of the festival, the “Golden Palm Secitor”, is claimed by the authors of short -term scenes from Belarus, Great Britain, Hungary, Germany, Israel, Canada, the Netherlands, Ukraine, the USA, Philippines, France, Croatia, Estonia, South Korea and Japan. One of the films is declared from the planet Malgaut.

Winners and laureates will choose an international jury: Doctor of Philology, leading researcher at the Russian Institute of Arts of Arts Svetlana Adonyev (Petersburg), Philosophy, teacher of the Open University of Israel Uri Gershovich (Israel), artist Vladislav Gultyev (Kansk), director Vladimir Seleznev (Yekaterinburg),, Director and video artist Evi Schubert (Germany). The chairman of the jury is Mikhail Shubsky, candidate of philosophical sciences, former director of the Krasnoyarsk regional cultural and historical museum complex (Krasnoyarsk).

At the opening of the video festival on August 23, the GDK will show the film “Russia as a Dream” created in Kansk - international cinema almanes, shot in 2015 by participants and guests of the XIV International Festival.

Also in the out -of -competition program, the picture of Evgeny Yufit “Papa, Dad Claus died” (August 25, in the forest for the drama theater), a retrospective of films of a member of the jury Evi Schubert (August 26 in the State Duma) and a special program “Kansky Choice” (August 26 and 27 in the State Duma), which included the work of young Russian directors.

On August 27, in the cinema "Cosmos" the special order of the film "Inge" directed by Andrei Silvestrov will be held. This is the only show of the festival to buy tickets for: the entrance to the rest of the events is traditionally free.

Simultaneously with a video festival in Kansk, an international architectural festival with installations, exhibitions and discussions and the Literary Festival“Zazubin” will be held, the main directions of which will be freestyle, storitelling and the improvisation theater this year.

From August 31 to September 3, shows of the Echo of the festival in Moscow will take place. In the Cinema "October" the film "Lynchy" will be presented and all the works of the competitive program of the XVI International Kansky Video Festival. Spectators will be able to take part in determining the winner of the audience vote.
