Experts from the St. Petersburg Politics Foundation compiled a rating of politicians who theoretically could replace President Vladimir Putin. The authors of the report are involved in the list of the list participants in the future ruling coalition of 2018-2024. All of them are credited with scores that consist of indicators of publicity, public expectations, activity, non -conflict, subjectivity and the availability of campaigns to discredit candidates.

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Governor of the Tula region Alexei Dyumin entered the three leaders of the successor rating. As indicated in the commentary on the rating, the concept of "successors" is understood as "the figure of speech, meaning the highest rank of presence in the nearest personnel reserve," the newspaper Vedomosti notes. "Past experience shows that options are possible: nomination to presidents, premieres, deputy prime ministers," the report quoted by Kommersant quoted.

Dmitry Medvedev, who received 21 points from the compilers, headed the twenty "successors". Despite the serious "information attacks" at the beginning of the year, from which the head of the government "failed to the end", Medvedev managed to stop "negative rating dynamics," the commentary on the rating says. As the president of St. Petersburg Policy, Mikhail Vinogradov, told RBC , the joint appearance of Putin with the prime minister during the visit of the head of state to Crimea last week can be considered a signal of the lost position of Medvedev's lost position.

Medvedev’s reputation losses are associated with the published Fund for Corruption (FBK) Alexei Navalny by the film “He is not Dimon”, which stated that the funds associated with Medvedev owned property totaling 70 billion rubles. On March 26, in a number of cities of the Russian Federation, a protest against corruption related to this investigation was held and accompanied by numerous detentions.

The second place in the ranking of "successors" was taken by Sergey Sobyanin, who received 19 points. According to experts, he managed to reduce "the intensity of passions in connection with renovation in Moscow and switch attention to the positioning of Moscow municipal elections as exemplary in terms of competitiveness." The report states that the minuses of the policies of the mayor can be ranked "tactics of drying the turnout" in the municipal elections and the improvement program.

The third on the list was Alexei Dyumin - the compilers of the rating also charged him 19 points. Before coming to the civil service, Dyumin worked as an employee of the Putin Security Service. Political scientists associate the high result of the Tula governor with expectations in the political circles of the appearance of a new figure as a possible successor.

Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was the fourth in the ranking with 17 points. Experts appreciated its influence as stable. Closes the five leaders of the Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, she has 16 points.

In addition, the TOP-10 included former Minister of Finance Alexei Kudrin, the head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino and his first deputy Sergei Kiriyenko (all of 16 points), as well as the State Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and Rosneft President Igor Sechin (15 points each). 13th place was taken by the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov (14 points).

Alexey Navalny takes 18th place in the ranking with 10 points. Last week, the chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) Ella Pamfilova in an interview with RBCsaid that the opposition will be able to register as a candidate for the presidency of the Russian Federation only if a “miracle” occurs: they will remove the criminal record after a complaint to the court or will be amended by the legislation. According to the current laws, Navalny is forbidden to run for president.

The rating also includes the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister - plenipotentiary in the Far Eastern Federal District, Yuri Trutnev, Director of the SVR Sergey Naryshkin, head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina, head of the Accounts Chamber Tatyana Golikova, Rosterov General Director Sergey Chemezov, Volga Plenipotentiary Mikhail Babich.

20th place in the ranking is given to a dark horse. “In medium -term terms, there is a temptation to embark on a deeper reboot of the image of power through large -scale rotations with the strengthening of the position of the conditional candidate Hidden Name,” the head of the Foundation Mikhail Vinogradov told Kommersant.

Recall that Vladimir Putin said in early August that he would think about his participation in the elections in 2018. In early July, sources of RBC said that Putin, most likely, would participate in the presidential election as a self -nominee. The elections are scheduled for March 18, 2018.
