Bomb-making workshop found in militants' house in Ingushetia

In Ingushetia, while clearing the rubble of a house where law enforcement officers killed four people, an underground bunker was discovered in which they made improvised explosive devices (IEDs). This was reported by the information center of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee (NAC).

The fact that there was a workshop for the manufacture of explosive devices in the basement is evidenced by the components found in the bunker and ready-to-use IEDs, the NAC notes.

Law enforcement officers also found three grenade launchers, two machine guns, three pistols and a homemade Khattabka grenade, as well as cartridges of various calibers, detonators and radio stations in the basement.

Earlier on Wednesday, was introduced the CTO regime in the village of Psedakh, Malgobek district of the republic. It was reported that militants were found in the village. According to the NAC, in response to the demands of law enforcement officers to lay down their arms and surrender, they opened fire. During the exchange of fire in the house where they were hiding, there was a powerful explosion. The building was completely destroyed.

According to the information of the republican department of the FSB of Russia, among the militants were the leaders and members of the "Malgobek gang", which for a long time was on the federal wanted list.

According to the FSB, it was these militants who in March fired from a grenade launcher at the building of the city department of the FSB in Malgobek, in April they shot two traffic police officers, and in May they carried out an armed attack on the Malgobeksky police post.
