The leader of the famous rock band Zero Fedor Chistyakov, who emigrated to the United States in July in connection with the prohibition of his denomination - Jehovah's Witnesses, abolished the concerts appointed in Russia. The musician placed the corresponding message on Wednesday on his website.

On July 31, when Chistyakov in an interview with Novaya Gazeta announced emigration, he assured that he would continue to concert at his homeland. “But there are events that finally break everything,” the musician noted on Wednesday.

The first event, Chistyakov explained, was Russia's decision to reduce the number of employees in the US diplomatic mission . The authorities noted, the musician noted, intended to “respond with dignity” to the sanctions of the United States, but they answered the “slop”. “This is not a blow to the States,” Chistyakov emphasized. “This is a blow to the Russians. For me it means that I get a visa that allows me to enter the USA back to a very big question.” And "to get stuck in the disaster zone - the prospect of so -so," stated the leader of Zero.

The second event was the criminal prosecution and house arrest of director Kirill Serebrennikov . The problem of entry into the United States, the musician noted, could be solved, for example, going for a visa to Mexico or Germany. However, the case of Serebrennikov forced him to be afraid for his own security in Russia, Chistyakov admitted.

“I have friends in the Crimea,” Chistyakov continued. “I have friends in Ukraine. I have no objections against those or against others. I am for the world. But the events associated with the Crimea for a significant number of people are pain. This is a non -hearing wound. And I also felt it. I just can’t go there. I am sad. I am extremely upset.”

“I am not going to discuss the legality of the annexation of Crimea,” the musician concluded. “The decision not to go is not related to my attitude to this issue. I just do not want at least someone to think that I have at least the slightest attitude to this whole story.”
