The lessor evicts the Moscow headquarters of Navalny

The owner of the premises of the Moscow headquarters Alexei Navalny is going to terminate the lease ahead of schedule. A photograph of the corresponding notification from the company "Mem Invest" was published on his Twitter by the head of the Navalny campaign Leonid Volkov.

The lessor ordered the headquarters of Navalny to free the premises on Gilyarovsky Street until August 31 "In connection with the need to use" its owner.

"Under the contract, we have two months from the date of notification, but they want to evict in a week (we will not eat, of course)," Volkov said.

In recent months, the headquarters of Navalny throughout Russia are subjected to searches and attacks, pressure on tenants. On July 6, the security forces blocked the Moscow headquarters of Navalny and carried out some "investigative actions" there. The police later stated that the search was carried out in the arbitrariness case (Article 330 of the Criminal Code) open against the owner of the building - Balchug Estit.
