No punishment on the rushnya

Social well-being of Ukrainians on the day of the 26th anniversary of independence is determined by the word "hope"

- Remember, under the "orange" Maidan, Julia suggested casing Donbass with barbed wire?

- Tymoshenko did not say that. It was refuted many times.

- Doesn't matter. Silting the Donbass, cut it like gangrene, not yet late! You won’t reduce these (shows to the dark street), and you’ll destroy the rest of the country. I have grown here and are not mistaken. I know what they want, why they voted for the prisoner of Yanek. They will betray again at the first opportunity.

- But people like you, the patriots of Ukraine, will also be behind the wire ... will you leave?

- Where, why? Life has been lived.

The city of Kramatorsk and conversations with the father of a schoolboy, captured and executed by the militants of the “DPR” for a blue-yellow ribbon on a backpack, does not come from memory. A fifty -year -old man, a hard worker, clever, a family man, recently he first visited the region, in the western part of the country - read, almost abroad. The volunteers insisted, organized a vacation in the Carpathians so that the parents would at least slightly dispelled after the tragedy. My interlocutor said:

-They experienced a little with his wife, but I did not hear the words of Krivoy about the Russian language. On the contrary, they only find out who and where they hug, they call the house. Very heart. And there, in almost every village, fresh graves of those who died in the Donbass for Ukraine.

- And how to cut off now?

Silence.

The Day of State Independence of Ukraine has been associated in consciousness with the hottest phase of the Russian-Ukrainian war in mind.

Question-extension "From whom is independence?" They don’t ask anymore: the answer is received.

On August 24, 2014, I transmitted a report from Khreshchatyk, according to which I rolled armored vehicles, new and repaired, to immediately go from the parade to the ATO zone. “The firing range is up to 120 kilometers, the area of the defeat is up to 70 hectares”, “They are able to destroy the armament and manpower of the enemy,” the Dictor woman commented. For some reason, a voice was remembered. It sounded a terrible celebration of his wife and mother, hoping that her family men are no longer targets now, but they themselves can send a sufficient number of enemies to the “two hundred”. Those who were in the parade, including generals and commander in chief - President Poroshenko, did not know that eight battalion tactical groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, according to representatives of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, invaded the territory of the sovereign state, were preparing to shoot columns following the Ilovaisky "Kotla". A gift for the next "Bandera" date.

For more than two decades after the collapse of the Union, the Kremlin did not need to storm the neighboring boundaries-the ephemeral in fact, week-metered and unfinished, if expressed by the language of international legal documents. Ukraine lay a loaf on an embroidered towel. Clear: 80% of the periodicals was published in Russian, the rest was sarcastically called using transliteration, “nonsense”. And nothing, suffered, even giggled, this is our funny mova, yes. Managed: most top politicians and parties were fed with a “fraternal” hand, and key positions in law enforcement agencies were held by FSB personnel. Bulk: one turn of the gas valve on New Year's Eve was enough for the power in Kyiv to forget about the European choice and cowardly to negotiations, to Moscow. Do not forget to take a present, lard with a gorit.

Opposition, say? The leaders of the "Orange Revolution" in a short time ate each other along with the prospects, no intervention was required. Agent did not report the ghost of the new Maidan. Following the example of Russia, the local civil society was to be pronounced after the collapse of hopes for many, many years ...

No matter how blasphemous sounds, but Putin made the impossible. The attack was forced by the Ukrainians, and not only those who drove Yanukovych Maidan to change inward much faster than they were capable of. Those who have changed are sure that the changes around them do not happen at all or go to a turtle step.

As an illustration, I will offer readers a study presented on the eve of the 26th anniversary of Independence by scientists of the Institute of the Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Democratic Initiatives Foundation named after I. Kucheriv-Irina Bekeskina, Evgeny Golovakha, Elena Zlobina and Nikolai Shulga. Renoma of the author’s team is flawless from the moment it began, from the 90s, and still. Monitoring, thermometers of the mood of society, never deliberately heat up and do not cool for the sake of the political conjuncture. But some information for me as a reporter turned out to be unexpected. The case when the private honest stories and moods of the heroes of newspaper texts did not coincide with a whole sociological canvas.

So, according to the study, the main feelings that arise among citizens of Ukraine when they think about the future, in 2017, hope (47%), anxiety (35%), optimism (21%) and fear (17%) were.

Hope wins in all regions, especially in the south. What are the strongest of all?

It’s not a rampant of crime, as before, and not the growth of unemployment, and not even hunger, whose horror is “recorded” in genes after the Holodomor, and a possible new attack on the country, full -scale, and not a hybrid war (38% versus 10%). Evgeny Golovakha, deputy director of the institute, recalled that the parallels were carried out since 2013, the pre-war year: “As it was previously customary to compare from 1913.”

Ukrainians, the sociologist noted, adapted to the situation with the forced immigrants. “We, frankly, were afraid of a sharp increase in fear of the influx of visitors (meaning from the annexed Crimea and from the occupied part of Donbass to other areas. - O. M. ). There is dynamics, 13% versus 7%, but this is not a drama. Society adequately accepted the challenge. There is no fear - it means that there is no aggression. ”

Significant changes have occurred in geopolitical orientations. Those who were positive about the idea of the Union with Russia and Belarus became noticeably less, 20% instead of 49%. At the same time, the negative in estimates of such a community grew from 28% to 62%. The process is characteristic of all regions of the country without exception, although the numbers differ, of course. Even more radical shifts occurred in sympathy-antipathies in relation to NATO. In 2013, only 14% of respondents approved the Alliance course, and now 40%. But there are still enough those who have not decided. The Donbass is recorded by a separate line here: in the territories controlled by Ukraine, 19% said NATO “Yes”. On uncontrolled, of course, hundreds of polls are not carried out.

- Who could imagine this four years ago! - exclaims Evgeny Golovakha. - zero as many as three tenths of percent - this is what the result was given by the Donetsk region. That is, only one person out of 283 surveyed saw in the alliance not Uncle Sam with a bomb from Soviet newsreric, but a guarantor of security of our country.

A positive reaction to the very idea of Ukraine’s entry into the EU prevails everywhere, with the exception of Donbass. There are 41% “against”, 26% “for”, plus the largest number of “nonsense” of own opinion.

Ukrainians are still significant paternalists, sociologists believe. At the same time, the balance of confidence in the branches of power, and the media also went a minus much. The authority remained with volunteers, scientists, churches and the army. The idea of an extraordinary shift in the presidential election (12%) and Rada (7%), a little more, 14%, would like to see a resignation of the government.

“But 62% of respondents have a desire to eradicate corruption,” Golovha concludes. - Following the implementation of reforms and the achievement of progress in the situation in the Donbass. Then the tension in society would decrease. But we step on old rake.

At the end of August, I am going to Kramatorsk again. I will certainly ask about the hope.
