In total, according to the Council of the Muftis of Russia, 2.5 million Muslims are in the capital.

Kurban-Bayram is a holiday marked by the ending of Haja-the pilgrimage of Muslims to the ancient shrines. On this day, it is customary to sacrifice a ram, cow or bull as Muslims. But this year there will be no sacrificial animals in Moscow, since 16 specially equipped sites in the Moscow region are allocated for this.

And a couple of days before the holidays, without any warning, cars are evacuated throughout the district. Well, at least the announcements were hung up, after all, the holidays are floating in Muslims, depend on the lunar calendar, you can’t keep track of them. The neighbors later run with bulging eyes from colored Boulevard to Riga, trying to find their car. This year, Kurban-Bayram coincided not only from September 1 and the festive line, but also with Friday prayer. According to local residents, after Friday prayer, believers diverge only after 15 hours.

The only thing, of course, for whom it is really important, these are first -graders, but it will also be on September 1 or September 4 - there is no much difference, ”says Alexander Gumarov , a self -nominee for municipal deputies in the Meshchansky district. - The main thing is the feeling of a holiday and, of course, security. And if there is such an opportunity to dilute these events painlessly, I personally do not see any problems. And if we talk about the presence of the mosque itself in our area, well, so historically it happened that it is the center of attracting Muslims, and now the only problem is the accompanying sales of various fruits, vegetables, meat. That is, every Friday, illegal trade points appear on Mira Avenue, and this is the main problem, which, unfortunately, is not regulated now.

Of course, during the holidays, it is difficult to go to the subway, but if we want to be a society in which people respect each other's religions, then two days a year you can choose another route, and there is no big problem, Gumarov believes.

The son of Dmitry Zvorykin goes to school, where the line was moved to September 4. He is not outraged by the fact of transfer, "both I and the child are happy to transfer."
