Margarita Borisovna Terekhova (75 years old) was born in the city of Turinsk in the Sverdlovsk region in the family of actors Boris Ivanovich Terekhov and Galina Stanislavovna Tomashevich. He graduated from a school with a gold medal.

In 1959 she entered the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at the University of Tashkent, but studied there for only two years. Throwing the university, the future actress left for Moscow to enter the theater. She was not accepted at VGIK, but she got to the studio school of Yuri Zavadsky under the Mossovet Theater and remained in this theater for life.
