The main journalistic text of the day is the open letter of the director Ivan Vyrypaev , published by Snob .
Vyrypaev responds to the arrest of Kirill Serebrennikov, but goes very far (read completely at the link):
I see how most of you wrote your letters in support, came to the rally, gave interviews and even turned to the president. And this, excuse me, becomes a tragicomic phenomenon. Indeed, in the meantime, most of you continue to shoot your films, make performances and receive subsidies from the Ministry of Culture. One way or another, cooperating with this authority and thinking that we can change something in this country with our creativity and our civil position, or make our own contribution to these changes, we just once again deceive ourselves and our country. And this, excuse me, really looks very infantile.
To begin with, it would be nice to honestly determine what and by whom this power is. In 1917, an armed coup occurred in Russia and the authorities passed to the illegally created government of the “Bolsheviks”. The power of this group of people arranged a bloody terror against their citizens. Vladimir Lenin and Joseph Stalin are certainly criminals and are worthy of only one thing - universal condemnation. From 1917 to today, power in Russia has not changed. Today's power openly inherits the authorities of the Bolshevik terrorist organization. Monuments to Lenin are in almost every city, his body lies on Red Square, not to mention the fact that even today, busts and monuments to Stalin are erected. The authorities also openly use the paraphernalia of the terrorist organization of the “Bolsheviks”: banners, symbols, the name of the streets with the names of the leaders of red terror, the music of the communist anthem (for other words), etc. <...>
Therefore, the only way to the liberation of our long -suffering people from the yoke of the ruling power is the change of this power and a change in the main value paradigm that underlies the life of this country.
What is the way? I personally do not believe in the path of violence. This will not lead to anything good. Therefore, our only weapons are the formation of public opinion. Education of the young generation on other values. And the first thing we, cultural figures, the intelligentsia, progressive people of Russia can do is stop supporting this power. There is no need to receive all these state awards and publicly to brute hand to Vladimir Putin. Well, do you really, my dear and multidivopted colleagues, outstanding people, do not understand that your game in the noble Schindler and your double life actually brought Kirill Serebrennikov in jail? <...>
The authorities are very cruel and capable of everything. However, it is enough for you to stop maintaining this power as possible. Do not "PR" this power. Do not praise it, do not associate your business with the affairs of this power, ignore it with all possible forces, do not help her in anything, and we will see that this will take the effect. Because the whole thing is in energy: where it is directed, there it is. Therefore, do not direct it to maintain the vitality of this power, and this force will weaken. On the other hand, let's direct all our energy and authority to debunk all this “Bolshevik ideology”, let's talk everywhere and as often as possible about what crimes against humanity were committed by Lenin and Stalin, as well as their entire communist party. Let's say more often and more often that the monuments to Lenin left throughout Russia are monuments to the killer.
Great bold letter of Ivan Vyrypaev to cultural figures. I highly recommend https://t.co/7a9SQC5LGU

Oh, gives me up, they will come soon for Vyrypaev. https://t.co/cqys2t1bub

What is a well done, well. I rarely want to subscribe to everything that is stated in someone else's letter, but this manifesto is the same case.
Great letter, well done!
It is worth reading the appeal of Ivan Vyrypaev to colleagues. M.B. And indeed, cultural Russia will straight from sleep?!
Read this letter, with the exception of some points there everything is true.
But I am sure that very few of our cultural figures will follow his advice. All these figures are under the cap in power. All their popularity, beautiful, happy life depends on the power that they sold. Most of them are cowardly and are ready to go for meanness, and many really go to maintain their position.
But another public opposition appeared, with whom the authorities will have to do something. I think we will still hear about him.
So we live, good, fun.
Well, in short, I said the same thing that is enough to contact them at all, although I understand that it seems difficult at the first moment.
But maybe Vyrypaev realized that right now is such a moment when politicization is the only way out of the situation. And the first step is the refusal of cooperation.
I advise you to read the playwright and director Ivan Vyrypaev ... and think.
The fact that artists of art and culture will massively support is unlikely. They will admire, criticize, get sick. Most are guided by the principles, to integrate, endure, and fuel. There is no absolute truth, general rules, each of his own praise and judge.
The letter of Ivan Vyrypaev is correct. Such a lot we have, in creative ones, in recent years. To live poorly, but honest.
Stay as far away as possible from the entire state. However, the state and itself stays away from us, frankly writing about him.
The text of Vyrypaev and the responses to him clearly identified the long -heated conflict.
The regime erected a wall that requires the creative intelligentsia of the oath for loyalty and loyalty. Further options are possible.
Someone is in a hurry with an expression of loyal feelings for her and readily strengthen it.
Someone, on the contrary, is ready to beat her head about her.
Someone hopes to dig a tunnel under it.
Someone considers it possible to drill a personal hole in it for their needs. As it was in the case of an iron curtain.
You can try not to notice it.
The sweetest conviction: you can rise above the wall and send the plague on both sides of it.
Vyrypaev, however, proposed a creative intelligentsia, as I understand it, a joint-Moral boycott. And in what format it will be implemented - this is a matter of individual choice.
I did not expect from Ivan. A few years ago, Lesha Devotchenko spoke with a similar appeal to the creative intelligentsia .. Only no one heard him and did not want to hear. And now time has come.
The delight, however, is not divided.
Ksenia Larina, do you really like it? Do you think this is the right letter exactly what in support? The Gogol Center was made on the state - money. Better would there be no Gogol center?
Open letter in defense of Serebrennikov from the next representative of the theater orientation of Razoropaev. These "directors" took out. Really! https://t.co/wrplaja6di

The arthausian shopping trap Ivan Zarypaev, who is constantly residing in Poland, is called the “Russian playwright, actor, film director, screenwriter, producer”, erupted with a whole sheet (“open letter”) on the occasion of the arrest in defense of his friend Kira Serebrennikov.
Subjective judgment of taste.
In the “open letter of the playwright and director Ivan Vyrypaev in support of Kirill Serebrennikov,” Kirill Serebrennikov is mentioned four times, Putin seven times, Lenin eight times, and Stalin is already eleven times (not counting the word “Stalinism”).
In my opinion, in a letter in support of Serebrennikov, Serebrennikov himself should be paid more attention.
In general, funny, dug, he wrote on Snob the text in defense of Serebrennikov with a common message that there was nothing to hide with this power, since neither for Lenin nor for Stalin they had yet repented. Snob deleted the text after a few hours. As I understand it, not for Serebrennikov and not for opposition, but for Lenin. Repenting of Lenin is the entire intellectual public of the killer. This is some kind of worship.
Wildly tired of their calls to repentance and usurpation of the right to truth.
Some kind of struggle against symbols. As if you can’t be a normal state about Lenin in the Mausoleum. The reason is not that. Just at the helm of the mafia, and all the current state is a carg culture, a shell for external decency.
Honestly, I read the blood from my eyes. In 2017, there are no other pressing problems, only monuments to Lenin and Soviet names of streets, and there are no popular repentance. Let's talk about this, just there is a reason - the arrest of Serebrennikov. Ugh (
In Russia there is a city, in that city, the square, on the square, is standing, in a chest - a coffin, and in a coffin Lenin.
As you bury Lenin, it is Putinism and the end.
(Reading open letters)
A quote from "Letters of Ivan Vyrypaev", removed from the pages "Snob". Published on Echo. It is clear that in connection with the history of Serebrennikov.
"Do you really understand that by helping, for example, to sick children or investing your money in private education, Putin's valuable support, you provide a" bear service "to our entire future generation, which is forced to grow and go to schools in Russia at the same time."
Yeah. Never help sick children again. Keep the money with you. Do not treat your children either! Still, why good, cure! And they will be forced to grow with this mode! And they could at the same time. Or at that!
And do not treat them - and there will be no future generation of slaves! Some grave crosses. But how the regime will rest!
And in my opinion, excuse me, this is, first of all, a bad text. Especially when it is written by a playwright who works in a word. Moreover, when this is an important and open letter in support of the “comrade and colleagues”, which should be read by many and influence something.
And I’m not so much about just a wild number of school errors in Russian - both in punctuation and spelling (even if I had identified the corrector’s snob), but also about monstrous verbatim, repetitions, conversations, inability to formulate thoughts and convey them clearly, concisely, strongly, to the target. And thoughts are in many ways correct and useful. But in this form - for a person who writes and screaming on every corner about the role of a playwright and the importance of reporting his words unchanged - this disgrace is simply.
Separate issues arise due to the fact that Ivan was always extremely extremely political correct, no matter what happened. And now, having left for Poland, he is announced with this letter as an ardent oppositionist, who supposedly even “risks, openly declaring his position”, Carrows and teaches the remaining life, advocates a change of power and gives passages about the “commune” a la respectable and beloved Valeria Ilyinichna.
In my opinion, the “infantility” of which Ivan accuses Russian colleagues looks just that.
I may not understand anything (and yes, I really appreciate the work of Vyrypaev), but that everyone rushes with his letter, so even Snob closed him, and then completely demolished it? What is it said there? General discussions about the crime of the Bolshevik regime in the spirit of perestroika journalism? Eryen -ended calls not to send Putin the rays of support with a million reservations such as “not to go to rallies” and “do not insult veterans”? A couple of hundred addressees of this letter will refuse state grants for culture, so a thousand much less scrupulous will come to their place - and that, a decrease in the quality of productions and films will cause fermentation and revolution? AP officials, having lost their favorite theaters, go to overthrow their cartridge?
I am afraid that this letter, with all the sincerity, is another evidence of the tragic reassessment of the intelligentsia of its role. All these references to Gandhi, calls to Achims and Satyagraha are escapism of the Russian intelligentsia, which has been hiding from politics into a safe ethics zone for three years. <...>
He resembles a little May calls Khamatova and Mironov to conduct an investigation "without excessive cruelty", that is, of course, with cruelty, where without her, but without excessive. Let Putin win, but not with an excessive result. We will protest, but without rallies. We will criticize Stalin, but without insulting the heroes.
I’ll go run in the park and thereby express a protest against the bloody regime.
And it is quite surprising that, having appeared on the network, the letter was soon deleted from the Snob website (but the text was already walking over the network in many copies: here , or here ).
Oh, what happened to the letter of Vyrypaev on Snob? Is it drowned?

Snob deleted the letter of Ivan Vyrypaev without his knowledge. Vyrypaev said about this "Ekhu".
- Shilo into the wall (@michaelnacke) on August 25, 2017
Vyrypaev’s open letter was removed from Snob and now their lawyers check if it was two solid.

He opened Snob to read the fashionable column of Vyrypaev about the intelligentsia and Molotov cocktail. But I read the Belkovsky about experts as a result

Open letter Vyrypaeva, closed on Snob
In general, it is ridiculous that the letter of Vyrypaev, removed by suckers from Snob, was simply posted in the Yandex face. What shameful <eccentrics are you. Just "horror".
But in the afternoon, it was still posted again.
Here are the days when you clearly understand the words of Dostoevsky "where the battlefield is the heart of a person."
The text of the letter of Ivan Vyrypaev is open at Snob. Until the end of the day, an explanation will appear on the site what happened - and I am waiting for him with the same impatience as all those who called in the morning, discouraged and angry.
Thank you for with us. Sorry for the confusion and indecision in making decisions, for this step forward and two back. Thank you for kicking us and support us when there are continuous doubts around.
Stay tuned
