Six people detained in Moscow at the rally “For Free Internet” were taken to the Basmanny police station. One of the detainees, Olga Mazurova, reported this to the OVD-Info hotline.
According to Mazurova, two detainees, LGBT activists Alexandra Alekseeva and Maria Katkova, had their phones taken away. Daria Shulenina's leg was scratched.
In total, seventeen people have been detained at the rally so far. The remaining eleven are already at the Krasnoselsky police station. Most of them stood in a column in support of journalist Ali Feruz, who is facing deportation to Uzbekistan. They were detained for the poster “Free Ali Feruz” under the pretext that it did not correspond to the theme of the rally.
