A participant in the anti-corruption rally on March 26 in Bryansk, who came to the rally with the Toilet Duckling cleaning product, was fined 10 thousand rubles for violating the procedure for holding a public event (Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code), TJ reports .
The court ruling, obtained by the publication, states that the activist “as part of a group of citizens of about 50 people took part in a public event in the form of a procession, carrying the Toilet Duckling cleaning product in his hands, demonstrating it to others.”
The decision on the fine was made on April 13, but it became known only now. The fined activist tried to appeal the decision, but on May 31, 2017, the Bryansk Regional Court left the complaint unsatisfied, and the decision of the first instance court was left unchanged, said RosEuroSud project lawyer Konstantin Terekhov. The protester intends to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights.
