Mark Zuckerberg's second daughter was born. He will go on maternity leave

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has given birth to his second daughter. They named her August.

In his welcome letter, Zuckerberg expressed the hope that until his daughter grows up, she will have time to enjoy all the joys of childhood. “I hope you will run around our living room and garden as much as you like. I also hope you get a lot of sleep. I hope you'll be good at this. And I also hope that even in your sleep you feel how much we love you,” wrote Mark Zuckerberg.

Due to the birth of his daughter, he will take maternity leave for a month now and another month later this year. Facebook employees can take up to four months of maternity leave.

• The first daughter was born to Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan in December 2015. Her name is Max.
