
The German company WARR Hyperloop took first place in the competition of prototypes of the capsules of the promising Hyperloop transport system, which were held by the American company SpaceX, writes N+1 .
As SpaceX founder Elon Musk said on his Instagram , during test runs that took place on a 1.3 km section of the Hyperloop test track, the German company's prototype capsule accelerated to 323.5 km/h. Second place in the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition was taken by the prototype capsule of the American company Paradigm (101 km/h). Third place was taken by the Swiss company ETH Zurich (about 40 km/h).

The WARR capsule prototype is a small electric cart designed for testing on the Hyperloop test track. The mass of the capsule is 80 kg, and the power of its electric motor is 50 kW. According to calculations, the maximum speed of the capsule can be 360 km/h.
Let us recall that in early August, the American company Hyperloop One, which is also working on a high-speed train project, tested a prototype of the XP-1 passenger capsule, during which the capsule was able to accelerate to 310 km/h. The tests were carried out at the DevLoop test site in the suburbs of Las Vegas - where the company expects to accelerate the capsule to 402 km/h.
The idea of the Hyperloop vacuum train was proposed by Elon Musk in August 2013. This concept involves the use of cargo-passenger capsules moving through pipes in which extremely low pressure is maintained. In theory, this allows the capsules to reach speeds of 1,200 km/h.
At the end of last year, the UAE authorities announced that, as part of an agreement with Hyperloop One, the Hyperloop transport system will connect the capital of Abu Dhabi, the city of Al Ain and Dubai in four years - for the large-scale event Expo 2020.
Meanwhile, similar high-speed transport projects are being implemented by other companies, for example, Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, which in March 2016 entered into an agreement with the Slovak government to build a Hyperloop route in central Europe, and in June 2017 it became known that the company will help create a Hyperloop system in South Korea.
