
The Ministry of Justice issued a warning to the Fund of Interdisciplinary Initiatives in the field of natural and humanities (FMI), created by Katerina Tikhonova, the youngest daughter of Vladimir Putin. This was reported by the "interlocutor" with reference to the official response of the department.
The publication sent a request to the Ministry of Justice about why the FMI does not submit reports laid down by law. The request was transferred to the Main Directorate of Department in Moscow. The answer states that violations that FMI were ordered to eliminate before September 18 were actually identified. Otherwise, the fund will be liquidated through the court or fined 2 thousand rubles.
According to the extract from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the Fund is engaged in publishing, renting buildings, the provision of financial services, the sale of land plots and scientific research. However, nothing is known about the work of the fund.
In May, it became known that another fund of Tikhonova, “National Intellectual Development” (NIR; works under the Innopractics brand), in 2016 spent 646.64 million rubles . As follows from the published annual report of the fund, a little more than half of this amount was spent on target events - 332.135 million rubles - and the costs of maintaining the management apparatus amounted to 84.935 million.
Compared to 2015, the fund’s budget has grown more than one and a half times . The total expenses of research for the year before last amounted to 411.5 million rubles. In 2014, this value was one and a half times less - 281.6 million.
In October last year, the Corruption Fund said that in 2015-2016, the research has received at least 877 million rubles . Meanwhile, BBC, citing Spark, reports that for the 2016th Foundation Tikhonova concluded contracts in the amount of only 241 million rubles, this year he signed two contracts with a total value of 142.6 million.
The main customers of the fund, the radio station notes, is its trustees - Rosneft, Transneft and Rosatom.
