The son of the actor from the series "Interns" of the Korney Makarov, suspected of beating to the death of the St. Petersburg blogger Stanislav Dumkin in Gorky Park, voluntarily surrendered to investigators, law enforcement source reports TASS .

“Makarov himself decided to surrender to law enforcement officers. Now he is going to investigators with a lawyer, ”the agency’s interlocutor said.

The day before, it became known that investigators established the identity of the suspect. The Investigative Department of the city of Moscow called on "the person who took part in the beating of the victim to appear on the investigating authorities."

Recall that the blogger from St. Petersburg Stas Dumkin was beaten on August 13, when he walked in Moscow in Gorky Park with his friends. Strangers became attached to the young man because of his appearance, took their hat away and tried to provoke a conflict, after which they began to beat Dumkin. At the time of the arrival of the ambulance, the blogger has already lost consciousness. He was hospitalized and died in the hospital.

On this fact, the GSU SK in Moscow accepted a criminal case from the police under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("intentional infliction of harm to health that caused death").

On August 28, it became known that investigators established the identity of the suspect in the crime. It turned out to be 23-year-old Korney Makarov.
