He struck an hour: the Lzhanuka Academy (abbreviated by the commission), together with the science committee, announces the start of the first stage (semi-finals) of the 2nd annual Academician of the Iltered. This prestigious title is only awarded to persons who made an outstanding contribution to the Russian pseudoscience.

The Academy and the corresponding prize were established in 2016 by the Scientific and Educational portal "Anthropogenesis.ru" and the Evolution Foundation. The Academy lied truly folk: readers of popular science resources through Internet voting, taking place on the Anthropogenesis.ru communities in Facebook and VKontakte, choose candidates for academics. Everyone can nominate candidates. The topic does not matter: folk-history, amateur linguistics, parapsychology, creationism, antigmo, HIV-dissidentiality, pyramidia or ufolism-at our Academy we are glad to everyone.

An incorruptible jury will select the 10 most popular candidates and will publish their list on social networks on September 20, after which the second round of voting will begin. The three worthy will reach the final, and the winner will be selected as part of the ceremony at the forum “Scientists against myths - 5” on October 21 in Moscow.
