The murder in the center of Moscow was disclosed only thanks to network resonance

On the night of Gorky Park on the night of August 13, a brawl occurred on Pushkinskaya Embankment. A trinity of drunken guys became attached to the company of two guys and two girls. One of the drunken young people entered a verbal skirmish with a guy from another company. He struck him in the face, from which the young man fell on the asphalt. The ambulance team arrived at the scene after 10 minutes. The young man was hospitalized. Such a version of the incident was distributed by many media.

The situation would not have caused so much noise: the drunken gopniks found a reason to cling to the first person oncoming, provoked a fight. If not for the details of what happened.

The first information about the incident appeared on the Internet only on August 25 - the news in the public "VKontakte" Mash (affinated with the News Media holding). The news reported details: the victim-29-year-old Petersburger Stanislav Dumkin. The conflict, according to sources, occurred due to the appearance of the young man. One of the attackers trampled his glasses and tore his hat from Stas, then hit him.

Dumkina was hospitalized, he fell into a coma and died on August 20 without regaining consciousness.

In the video on the VKontakte social network, the father of Stanislav Vitaly Dumkin says that in hot pursuit no one from the police even contacted the family.

Only after the noise on the Internet, the Investigative Committee published (August 25 at 22.06) information that a criminal case was instituted on “intentionally causing harm to health that caused death by negligence” (imprisonment for a term of five to fifteen years).

The next day, their version of events appeared on the official page of Gorky Park on Facebook. According to them, the incident lasted 11 seconds, the park was not nearby, but the ambulance team soon arrived at the scene. The park administration claims that they did not know about the reason for hospitalization: supposedly none of the dozen visitors of the park who were nearby at that moment, did not explain what was the matter. None of the law enforcement agencies also tried to contact with the leadership of the park before the publication of news on the network.

Later, a video recording from surveillance cameras, on which the crime was supposedly recorded, also got into the network. It shows that the brawl really occurs in a crowded place, but there is no one directly next to two people (which contradicts the primary version).

On Monday, August 27, the Investigative Committee announced the identity of the suspect in the attack.

On August 29, 23-year-old Korney Makarov, the son of actor Sergei Makarov, was detained on suspicion of committing a crime. Korney starred in Russian series, recently returned from the army, where he served in the Airborne Forces.

All acquaintances recall Dumkin as a non -conflict and friendly person. He studied at St. Petersburg State University at a law facet. He starred in episodic roles in the series. A few years ago, he moved to Moscow from St. Petersburg and was engaged in business here.
