Alexa and Cortana will open access to each other's opportunities
Amazon and Microsoft are working on uniting their voice assistants Alexa and Cortana, writes The New York Times.
Cross-platform integration will give ALEXA users access to many unique capabilities of the Microsoft assistant and vice versa.
NYT notes that such cooperation is unusual for large companies that invest “huge money” in such technologies.
As the newspaper adds, Microsoft and Amazon began to cooperate in May 2016. The details of how Cortana and Alexa will be integrated, companies should open later on August 30.
