The report states that Roskomnadzor held a meeting with representatives of major Russian search engines - Yandex, Mail.ru Search and Sputnik.

The procedure for implementing laws that will come into force in the fall was discussed at the meeting. will come into effect On October 1, the law on blocking “mirrors” of pirated sites , and on November 1, the law on blocking anonymizers and VPN services will come into effect.

Both documents suggest that search engines should remove from search results pages that are blocked in Russia.

“It has been determined that the list of blocked resources that will be removed from search results will be transmitted to search engine operators in an automated manner,” Roskomnadzor said in a statement.
